Volleyball Recap: Aurora Victorious

The Aurora Greenmen were able to grind out a solid win over the Findlay Trojans on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Aubrey Verdova paced Aurora's offense, picking up eight kills. Verdova got some help from Kaylie Liepins and her 24 assists. Liepins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The victory got Aurora back to even at 1-1.

Aurora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 19th. As for Findlay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Strongsville on the 16th.
