Football Game Preview: Swartz Creek Dragons vs. Linden Eagles

The Swartz Creek Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Linden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Swartz Creek will be strutting in after a victory while Linden will be coming in after a loss.

Swartz Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Kearsley 31-12 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Linden lost 34-14 to Flushing on Friday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Linden fell to 4-1. As for Swartz Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Swartz Creek was taken down by Linden 49-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
