Reedsville extended the longest winning streak in Olympian-Packerland - Small this week by beating Hilbert, 13-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Panthers.
Manitowoc Lutheran and Mishicot played the closest game in the league this week, with Manitowoc Lutheran eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory. Ethan Hillmer threw for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 25 yards during the win.
Brock Gilsdorf was a passing and rushing force as Reedsville beat the Wolves. He completed 7 passes for 134 yards and also ran for 104 yards.
Sam Koss was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 116 yards as Algoma bested Oconto. Ben Sealey also contributed to the rushing game with 23 yards on the ground.
Hillmer put up the best numbers in passing as the Lancers defeated the Indians. Hillmer's favorite target this week was Alex Thom, who caught 3 passes for 52 yards.
Prokash was the best receiver in Olympian-Packerland - Small this week as the Wolves bested the Blue Devils. Prokash racked up 5 receptions for 72 yards. Andrew Gorz helped Algoma's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 65 yards.
Algoma's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hunter Prokash has thrown for 494 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Prokash has 12 catches for 249 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Manitowoc Lutheran takes on Algoma. Dave Uhlhorn/ Jim Carolfi's team is in third place, while Wade Vandervest's team is in second place.
Oconto made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,536 from 9,734. The improvement came about via a 20-7 victory over David Ruechel's team last week.
