Wadley can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against the Winterboro Bulldogs by a score of 9-6. The win was just what Wadley needed coming off of a 16-2 defeat in their prior match.
Brent Langley was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Langley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Wadley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Winterboro, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
