Football Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolfpack vs. Richlands Blue Tornado + How To Watch

Ridgeview has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Richlands has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Wolfpack will take on the Blue Tornado at 7:00 p.m. Ridgeview will be strutting in after a victory while Richlands will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Ridgeview didn't have too much trouble with Gate City as they won 34-20.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 36 points the game before, Richlands was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 56-12 loss at the hands of Graham. While losing is never fun, the Blue Tornado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the G-Men are ranked 45th).

With the defeat, Richlands broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. As for Ridgeview, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Everything came up roses for Ridgeview against Richlands in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-0 victory. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Tornado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
