Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sonora). They enjoyed a cozy 67-50 win over the South Hills Huskies on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sonora's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for South Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Sonora and Oceanside will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sonora is facing Oceanside at the right time seeing as Oceanside is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for South Hills, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Covina at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
