Soccer Game Preview: Elk Rapids vs. Kingsley

The Elk Rapids Elks will face off against the Kingsley Stags at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Elk Rapids and Leland meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Elks fell 3-1 to the Comets.

Meanwhile, Kingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Suttons Bay, falling 4-0.

Elk Rapids now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kingsley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
