The Booker Tornadoes are taking a road trip to  square off against the Boca Ciega Pirates  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Booker is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Booker's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gibbs 42-0. Booker got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Joel Morris out in front who threw for 55 yards and a pair of  TDs.  Mike Peterson was in the mix  too, providing the Tornadoes with two touchdowns.

 Meanwhile, Boca Ciega came up short against Palm Harbor University on Friday and fell  14-3. The  matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Boca Ciega's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Booker, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
 Everything came up roses for Booker against Boca Ciega when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  42-6 victory. In that  game, the Tornadoes amassed a halftime lead of  21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
