You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Sierra on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Liberty Hawks as the Sierra Chieftains made off with a 70-46 victory. The Chieftains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Sierra's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Goodman led the charge by putting up 15 points along with six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hallman, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Goodman wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Sierra was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only six assists.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gavin Pattan, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 13 points. Pattan continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Mauro Farinelli was another key player, scoring six points and nine boards.

Sierra is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Sierra didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-49 defeat against Coalinga on the 15th. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-58 loss against Santa Maria on the 15th.
