Softball Recap: North Union Takes a Loss

North Union lost against Benjamin Logan last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 10-9. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Emma McElroy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. She also put up two doubles, which were her first of the season. Kale Keigley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

North Union's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Benjamin Logan, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

When North Union and Benjamin Logan next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Wildcats will try to stop London's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Benjamin Logan will face off against Kenton Ridge and their six-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
