Baseball Recap: South Fayette Takes a Loss

If South Fayette was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Bethel Park on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell just short of the Black Hawks by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Black Hawks earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

South Fayette moved to 7-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Bethel Park, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Fayette will welcome South Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethel Park, they will be playing at home against Peters Township at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
