Baseball Recap: Church Farm Comes Up Short at Home Against Bristol

Church Farm unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 16-1 to the Bristol Warriors on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Church Farm saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savion Weaver-Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

The victory got Bristol back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Church Farm and Bristol will both be playing Calvary Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Bristol will host Calvary Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while Church Farm will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
