Volleyball Recap: Hartselle Falls Short Against Ranked Huntsville

Hartselle faced Huntsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 23-25, 25-18.

Lacey Hollis was a one-woman wrecking crew For Huntsville. as she had 23 digs and four assists. Those 23 digs gave Hollis a new career-high.

Hartselle's defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 37-12. As for Huntsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-8 record this season.

Hartselle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntsville, they will take on Madison Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
