Game recap: Woodland Regional High School Football Team beats Holy Cross

Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, Conn.) was up 14-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Tanner Kingsley to Anthony Scirpo in the first quarter.

The Hawks expanded their lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. Woodland Regional scored once in the quarter on a Kingsley touchdown pass to Brian Reis.

Coming into the game WR had allowed 20.8 points per game this year.

The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which Holy Cross (Waterbury, Conn.) took, 34-7.

The loss snapped the Crusaders' 3-game winning streak.
