Softball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

Union City entered their match against Peabody on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Golden Tornadoes fell just short of the Golden Tide by a score of 3-2. The Golden Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tide earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Peabody, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Union City will take on Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peabody, they will square off against Gibson County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
