Softball Recap: Pleasant Hill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Creswell on Tuesday, Pleasant Hill came back down to earth. The Billies lost 21-3 to the Harrisburg Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in April.

Pleasant Hill's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Harrisburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

While Pleasant Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
