Soccer Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. That's two games in a row now that Chaparral have lost by exactly two goals.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-3. As for Lewis-Palmer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

Chaparral and Lewis-Palmer could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Wolverines will face off against Legend at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (157 vs. 37). Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer (ranked 156th) will meet Lutheran (ranked 40th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
