Preview: East Central Hornets vs. Laurel Golden Tornadoes
The East Central Hornets will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Laurel Golden Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. East Central has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
Last Tuesday, East Central ended up a good deal behind Gautier and lost 60-46.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cartavious Myers, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Porter Martin, who scored ten points.
Laurel posted their biggest win since November 16, 2023 on Friday. Everything went their way against Stone as Laurel made off with a 63-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Laurel.
East Central's loss was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Laurel, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
