Football Recap: Floydada Comes Up Short

Floydada fell victim to Smyer and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 36-0 defeat at the hands of the Bobcats. The Whirlwinds just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row dating back to last season.

Floydada's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Smyer, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Floydada will host Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Smyer, they will venture away from home to take on Hale Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
