Basketball Recap: Fife Takes a Loss

If Fife was feeling good fresh off their 63-41 takedown of Franklin Pierce last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fife Trojans fell to the Puyallup Vikings 43-38. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 43-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Fife's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Puyallup, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Fife won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Washington at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fife is facing Washington at the right time seeing as Washington is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Puyallup, they will take on Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
