Basketball Game Preview: Pinnacle Panthers vs. Piute Thunderbirds

The Pinnacle Panthers will face off against the Piute Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinnacle has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Piute will come in with three straight victories.

Last Friday, Pinnacle was beaten by Providence Hall 56-23.

Meanwhile, Piute beat Escalante 38-27 on Friday. The 38-point effort marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Piute pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Pinnacle, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Pinnacle was taken down by Piute 65-13 in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Pinnacle was down 36-3.
