Baseball Recap: Crossroads Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crossroads Christian can now relate to. They fell 9-6 to the Lawrence Academy Warriors on Friday. The Colts were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Crossroads Christian got a good showing from Brady Reagle, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Rylan Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Easton Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

The loss snapped Crossroads Christian's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record. As for Lawrence Academy, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

As of now, neither Crossroads Christian nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
