            The Sierra Timberwolves will face off against the Patterson Tigers at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Sierra came up short against  Linden on Wednesday, falling  9-3.
Sierra got a good showing from  Koa Rodrigues, who   tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Rodrigues has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Sierra saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anthony Chapman Jr., who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.  Ricardo Anaya also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Patterson lost  10-2 to Oakdale on Friday.
  Max Medina was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Patterson dropped their record down to 9-10 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Sierra, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record  this season.
