St. Stanislaus waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They had just enough and edged the Hancock Hawks out 52-49. This was a revenge game for the Rock-a-Chaws: when they faced off against the Hawks back in November, they had to take a 55-41 loss.

St. Stanislaus is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Hancock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

St. Stanislaus will take on Pearl River Central in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Hancock and Lake Cormorant will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
