Softball Recap: Trinity Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Coram Deo Academy last Thursday, Trinity Valley came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Greenhill Hornets by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Trinity Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Greenhill, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Coincidentally, Trinity Valley and Greenhill will both be playing Hockaday the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Daisies at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hornets will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
