Basketball Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. Van Nuys Wolves

Reseda hasn't had much luck against Van Nuys recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Reseda Regents will take on the Van Nuys Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Reseda will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Reseda will head into Wednesday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 22) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Canoga Park, sneaking past 48-46. While the Regents didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Van Nuys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennedy.

Van Nuys' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Reseda, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Reseda couldn't quite finish off Van Nuys when the teams last played back in January and fell 57-54. Can Reseda avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
