Baseball Recap: Winters Comes Up Short

Winters was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Cisco Loboes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blizzards of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2016.

Winters saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Woody Rios, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was Rios' first of the season. Another was Leland Dunham, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Winters' loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Cisco, their record now sits at 9-6-2.

While Winters had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
