Siloam Springs took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Van Buren, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Siloam Springs Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Van Buren Pointers on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Pointers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Siloam Springs hit Van Buren with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hector Maldonado, Elijah Salsgiver, and Ramon Loyo.

The victory got Siloam Springs back to even at 3-3. As for Van Buren, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Siloam Springs will face off against Mountain Home at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Van Buren will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alma at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st.
