Gavin Brannon gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Thursday. Greensburg had no answer to Brannon as he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and only one walk). Brannon also tossed a walk, which is notable because Connersville is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-12 otherwise.

Coming up, Brannon and Connersville will face off against Pendleton Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
