Morton Ranch piles up the points against Willis

The Morton Ranch Mavericks can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They breezed by Willis on the road to the tune of 70-40. The victory was just what Morton Ranch needed coming off of a 51-31 loss in their prior match.
Willis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sofia Dominguez, who scored 10 points. Sasha Traylor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Morton Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Willis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Morton Ranch will square off against Bryan at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Bryan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Morton Ranch in Texas (Bryan is ranked 179th, while Morton Ranch is ranked 1004th). Willis will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Fort Bend Bush at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st.
