Volleyball Game Preview: Waldron Mohawks vs. North Decatur Chargers

Waldron hasn't had much luck against North Decatur recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mohawks will take on the Chargers at 6:00 p.m.

Waldron saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Triton Central.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Decatur, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Union County 3-0 on Thursday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

North Decatur walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

North Decatur's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Waldron, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-20.

Waldron couldn't quite get it done against North Decatur in their previous meeting last Thursday as they fell 3-1. Can the Mohawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
