Basketball Recap: Crittenden County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crittenden County entered their tilt with Christian County on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Christian County Colonels with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Colonels back in February, they had to take a 56-49 defeat.

Several Colonels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was NeVaeh Day, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Day has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lazarie Daniel, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Crittenden County's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Christian County, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10.

Crittenden County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-31 defeat against Henderson County on the 8th. Christian County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
