Baseball Recap: West Central Takes a Loss

West Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Knox Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Saturday.

West Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Wall, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

West Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Knox, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

West Central has already played their next game, a 15-14 win against Caston on the 28th. As for Knox, they will take on South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redskins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Satellites have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
