Schaumburg Christian waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Conquerors: when they faced off against the Warrior-Lions back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Elizabeth Tomasek paced Schaumburg Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Tomasek got some help from Eunice Cho and her 20 assists. Tomasek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Harvest-Westminster saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amelia Herther had 15 digs. Herther has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played. Paige Nestrick also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Schaumburg Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Harvest-Westminster, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-12.

Schaumburg Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against South Beloit on the 18th. As for Harvest-Westminster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Trinity Oaks Christian Academy on the 18th.
