American Fork is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They fell 40-30 to Westlake. The game marked the Cavemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Skyridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 73-69 win over Pleasant Grove. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

Skyridge's win came from a few key players American Fork will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ellah Oeser, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. She has become a key player for Skyridge: the team is 4-1 when she posts at least ten boards, but 8-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Merceius Mili, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for American Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
