Baseball Recap: St. Mary Takes a Loss

St. Mary was the 5-3 winner over North Arlington when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Gaels fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

St. Mary's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-9. As for North Arlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary will challenge St. Joseph Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Arlington, they will head out to square off against Dwight Morrow at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
