Basketball Recap: Willard Takes a Loss

Willard was the 65-58 winner over Perkins when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Willard Crimson Flashes took a blow against the Perkins Pirates on Monday, falling 68-32. The game marked the Crimson Flashes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Willard dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Perkins, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willard will face off against Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willard is facing Edison at the right time seeing as Edison is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Perkins, they will square off against Clyde at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
