Softball Recap: Perth Amboy Comes Up Short

Bayonne hit Perth Amboy with a four-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Bees, falling 12-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perth Amboy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Naylah Rosario, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Perth Amboy now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Bayonne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perth Amboy will face off against Sayreville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayonne, they will square off against River Dell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
