Softball Recap: Harborfields Comes Up Short

Harborfields was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westhampton Beach Hurricanes, falling 28-9. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-7 loss last Saturday.

Harborfields saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Forman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Harborfields' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westhampton Beach, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Harborfields does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westhampton Beach, they will square off against Eastport-South Manor at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
