Baseball Recap: Rosman Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Rosman duked it out with Mountain Heritage on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 37-1 to the Cougars. The Tigers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Rosman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Micah Carr was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Rosman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Mountain Heritage, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Rosman will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madison at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Mountain Heritage, they have already played their next matchup, a 20-5 defeat against McDowell on the 14th.
