Bishop is 4-0 against Maranatha Christian since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bishop's Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Maranatha Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Maranatha Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop's, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Bishop's was able to grind out a solid victory over Del Lago Academy, taking the game 52-43. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Firebirds are ranked 592nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian suffered their closest loss since November 23, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Escondido Charter by a score of 51-48.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Maranatha Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Bishop's skirted past Maranatha Christian 60-58 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Will Bishop's repeat their success, or does Maranatha Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
