Baseball Recap: Harvey Takes a Loss

Harvey lost against Wickliffe back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Raiders took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trent Hull was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Jake Boehm also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Harvey now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wickliffe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

While Harvey had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
