Despite their loss, Camden County saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Camryn Underhill, who had nine digs and two aces, was perhaps the best of all. Underhill has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Narron, who had ten digs.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Manteo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Gates County 3-0 on Thursday. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Red Barons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 18-4. As for Manteo, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
