Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Anoka's Winning Streak

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Anoka couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rogers Royals on Saturday. The Tornadoes' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 26-28, 25-16.

Nathaniel Lindberg paced Anoka's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lindberg got some help from Hank Anderson and his 29 assists. Ryan Trutwin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Anoka's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Rogers, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

As of now, neither Anoka nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
