Soccer Recap: Enochs' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Enochs brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They beat the Modesto Panthers by a goal, winning 5-4. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Panthers are ranked 988th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enochs hit Modesto with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jace Lasater (2), Aidan Hurtado Murguia, Arisman Champa, and Carlos Fernandez-Garibay.

With the win, Enochs broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-6-1. As for Modesto, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-14-3 record this season.

Enochs has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Turlock on the 30th. As for Modesto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Gregori on the 30th.
