The East River Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the University Titans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
East River is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Orangewood Christian on Thursday as they made off with an 11-0 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Elijah Sealey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Sealey was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ty Kennedy was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brady MacLellan, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
East River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orangewood Christian only posted an OBP of .160.
Meanwhile, University came out on top against Pine Ridge on Wednesday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
University also got a great performance from Brody Constantine as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The Titans are 4-1 when Constantine allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-8-2 otherwise.
On the hitting side, University saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Palmer, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
East River is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for University, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-2.
East River beat University 6-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
