DuBois has gone 9-1 against Punxsutawney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Beavers will challenge the Chucks at 6:00 p.m. DuBois will be strutting in after a victory while Punxsutawney will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, DuBois earned a 3-1 win over Johnsonburg.

DuBois had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-10, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Punxsutawney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against St. Marys, falling 3-0.

Punxsutawney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for DuBois, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1.

Everything went DuBois' way against Punxsutawney in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, as DuBois made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Beavers repeat their success, or do the Chucks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
