Softball Recap: Hanover Area Takes a Loss

Hanover Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-5 on April 8th.

Hanover Area saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Weidner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Hanover Area's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Holy Redeemer, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanover Area will take on Lake-Lehman at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Redeemer, they will face off against Crestwood at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
