Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Kearney

Kearney lost to Lafayette back in January of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Kearney Bulldogs strolled past the Lafayette Fighting Irish with points to spare, taking the game 54-38.

Kearney's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Kearney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-40 loss against Summit Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Lafayette, they will welcome Hogan Prep Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
