Basketball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

After flying high against Powhatan last Friday, Cosby came back down to earth. The Cosby Titans fell just short of the Thomas Dale Knights by a score of 64-61 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Titans have suffered since February 16, 2024.

Cosby now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Thomas Dale, they moved to 9-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The future could be bright for both Cosby and Thomas Dale: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Cosby will try to hand Clover Hill their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Thomas Dale will look to extend Prince George's four-game losing streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
